She is a biologist at UNAM and studied International Relations at ITAM; She also has a diploma in Journalism from New York University, (NYU). She is a faithful believer in collaborative processes among people that can generate structural changes, and has extensive experience in facilitating social groups to reach agreements and collective bargaining. Her work has focused on issues of conservation and community development, as well as the connection between these two worlds. She has worked in federal agencies such as Semarnat, with the private initiative and recently as a consultant with various civil society organizations in various environmental and renewable energy projects in Baja California Sur, her homeland.
